The client,
a passionate music producer, had for a long time nurtured the dream to have a
vinyl record store next to his studio. The small boutique facing the street has
a custom-made shelving system made of birch, wood wool panel clad walls and a
centrally placed large round table (with a Noguchi-lamp above) for all kind of
use. In the more private inner room (the studio) the same shelving system also functions
as workspaces. The intimate space has a ceiling of wood wool panels, while a
broadloom carpet covers the floor (shoes are forbidden).
